the origins of judism and christianity

heres something you guys might not have known.

judism as it is today stems from an ancient egyptian cult who worshipped Ra, but no other. They only worshipped ra, and thus monotheism was born, and since Ra was the main god of those days, it stands to reason that if the followers of him turned around and said "he is the only one true god, so worship him" that amost of the other god followers would turn to him. then all they ave to do is turn horus from being osiris's son into Ra(or GOD)'s sonand bingo, instant prophesy of the massiah

so we have judism that comes from worshipping an egyptian sun god

and islam that comes from worshipping the pagan moon god

Jews use the Torah as their spiritual text. It is the first 5 books of the Christian bible. The second book, exodus, goes into detail about how the God of the Isrealites was different than the god of the Egyptians, and how the God of the Jews delivered them from the Egyptians.

TD bear, I don't know where you got your information, but it's wrong.

Don't believe everything you hear.

Much Love,

Re: the origins of judism and christianity

First of all, there is no historical or cultural evidence that Judaism derived from any Egyptian deity or religious sect. The term “Israel” or better yet the name “Jacob” is not by any means an Egyptian word. If the origins of Judaism came from the worship of Ra, then why did they rename such a god to Yahweh? And why did they change Ra’s personality? Why then did they write about a god who commanded that there is only one god to be worshiped? Because the god of the Hebrews had nothing to do with Egyptian gods. It makes no logical sense. And what about such people as Abraham, Isaac, and the twelve tribes that have absolutely no refrence to Egypt. Unlike the early Christians, the ancient Hebrews were not a secret sect or organization, but a race; a bloodline that involved thousands of people that grew out of centuries. They had different types of Semitic writing and language, proving the barrier between the two races. Why didn’t the Hebrews keep Egyptian hieroglyphics since they were referring to Ra? This coincides to the story found in the first Chapter of Exodus. All noteworthy and knowledgeable historians and scholars generally agree that the Hebrew’s were slaves to the Egyptians around the timeline of 1200 B.C. The Egyptians would never have allowed only one god to be worshipped, some pharaohs had tried it during their reigns and it failed in the past. The Hebrews had nothing to do with the Egyptians until they were decreed as slaves during the reign of Raamses, or his son, and by that time Hebrews had already had a style of worship and despised the pagan gods. Yahweh declared in Exodus 12:12 they He will punish all the Egyptian gods, thus showing His power and might to both the Hebrews and Egyptains. The rest of the Hebrew books (such as Numbers and Deuteronomy) describe their God in no way comparison to any Egyptian deity. Take a look for yourself. I have never read or seen any book, article, television show, or documentary that has ever made a claim that Judaism derived from the worship or Ra or any other god, because its just historically and culturally wrong. It sounds like this "expert" who is probably a high school student who wears Cradle of Filth t-shirts : ) needs to do some more research on the history of the Hebrew people and of the Israel state.
With the second argument…all stories of any mythological gods having a son is in ALL mythologies. The unique story of the Christ is that a god dies for the people, and not vice-versa.

"The unique story of the Christ is that a god dies for the people, and not vice-versa."
